The village St. Kathrein is located at the heart of Peter Rosegger’s Waldheimat, around 1,000m above sea level. Being active as well as spending time enjoying the peace of the nature are part of the programme. The municipality is a starting point for wonderful hikes to the most idyllic places in the region ‘Joglland – Waldheimat’. For sporty people there are many different activities during summer as well as winter time, suiting everybody’s taste.
